SCORPIONS: 'Live At Wacken Open Air 2006' DVD Available In U.S. Via Internet Only
January 7, 2008According to a posting on the SCORPIONS fan site blog ScorpsNews.com, SCORPIONS' concert at Wacken Open Air in Wacken, Germany on August 3, 2006 will be released on DVD in North America on January 8. Entitled "Live At Wacken Open Air 2006: A Night To Remember - A Journey Through Time", the disc will be an Internet-only release and will not be available in local stores. "This release will be the European version of this DVD," reads a posting on the site. "The SCORPIONS and their American management are still working on getting a U.S. distribution deal for the new DVD as we speak."
"Live At Wacken Open Air 2006: A Night To Remember - A Journey Through Time" includes the German hard rock band's historic performance at the festival during which they were joined by former bandmates Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker and Herman Rarebell.
